DANIEL SLEPIAN,
PA, CNIM
ORIMtec Vice President and Clinical Director
Mr. Daniel Slepian has worked in the field of neurophysiological
medicine in many different capacities. Mr. Slepian practiced
as a neurosurgical physician’s assistant for more than
11 years. One of his activities included first assist to the
surgeon, and many of the surgeries in which he assisted are
the same type of procedures that ORIMtec monitors today.
Mr. Slepian obtained further medical experience
through a medical/legal practice in which he was introduced
to and utilized electrophysiology. Under the direction of
a physician board certified in neurology, neuropsychiatry
and neurosurgery, Mr. Slepian used information obtained from
his studies to help identify and subsequently confirm suspected
neurological deficits identified in the neurological exam.
In the mid-1980s, Mr. Slepian established
his own clinical practice, where he provided neurodiagnostic
studies for doctors who referred their cases to complete the
clinical picture of their patients. Upon relocation to Sacramento,
California, in 1988, Mr. Slepian co-founded Advanced Diagnostics,
a provider of clinical neurodiagnostic studies and intraoperative
neurophysiological monitoring (IONM). In 1999, Mr. Slepian
applied his knowledge and expertise to create ORIMtec.
Today, Mr. Slepian serves in several
capacities as Clinical Director, including:
- Training, directing and supervising the
ever-growing team of highly qualified ORIMtec neurotechnologists
(NTs).
- Interacting with our Medical Director,
Dr. Enoch, to improve the ORIMtec training program and enhance
our services.
- Ensuring the level of high-quality service
that surgeons have come to expect from ORIMtec.
